Finishing 2013 in a much stronger position

Dear Readers,

Before writing this post, I re-read my previous post in Dec 2012. I reflected on the journey that I have travelled in 365 days. Few words that came to my mind immediately. “Amazing”, “Tough”, “Hard work”, and “Teamwork”.

It has really been an amazing 12 months. So many things have happened. I could never have planned out all the activities that have happened. As in all start up, you never know when is the next dip, when is the next uphill. It has been an amazing ride so far. Tough. yes, it has been tough 12 months. The more we progress, the more challenges we faced. Each challenge seems to be a brick wall in front of us, testing how determined we are. I am fortunate that we have punched through these challenges one by one. How did we do it?

Two other words – “Hard work” and “teamwork”. I simply have an amazing team. We have a few great additions to our team. Just like a soccer team, it is good to have new members, bringing in new ideas and new perspectives to the team. I enjoy the new additions. What amazed me is also the hard work that the entire team has put in. We are beginning to gel – like a well-oiled machinery …. each part moving hard and in synch with other parts. This is teamwork at its best.

Reflecting back, what is most important is that we, as a team, have finished 2013 in a much stronger position than 2012. This means that we have progressed. And I would like to say, we have progressed significantly. This is important. The team has expanded, we have more capabilities, we have more customers (our valuable believers). Things are looking on the uphill. We have done well in 2013.

Looking into 2014, I pause to think about the plans and directions of 2014. I certainly want to be able to finish 2014 in a much much stronger position than in 2013. In 2013, we were focusing on the local market. In 2014, we are venturing into the global market. More challenges and more roller-coaster ride. But I am very confident, we, as a team, will finish stronger.

With best regards,
Chee Wah
